Eiffel Square Office Building is located in downtown Budapest alongside the historic Western Railway Station Building designed by the office of Gustav Eiffel 1874 -1877. Eiffel Square Office Building is the kick-off point of the newly designed “Green Axis” which is to stretch from downtown Budapest to the suburbs. The main elevation of the new Eiffel Square building acts as a mirror, complementing the protected Western Railway Station Building by literally reflecting its 19th century structure.
The two angles in the glass front elevation of the new building resemble a chaste diamond. Eiffel Square provides a multifunctional ground floor with three main lobbies and six upper floors of over quarter of a million square feet of rentable area including restaurants, terraces and shops; this adds further life to the fully functioning office building. This building is among the first in Budapest to achieve BREEAM rating.
