FIABCI Accepting Nominations for Prix d’Excellence Awards 2011

The International Real Estate Federation, FIABCI, is accepting nominations for its 2011 Prix d’Excellence Awards. Real estate projects will compete for this highly prestigious honor that recognizes development that best embody excellence in all the real estate disciplines involved in its creation. The Prix d’Excellence Awards illustrates the FIABCI ideal of “stimulating the competition to provide society with the optimal solution to its property needs,” explains Enrico Campagnoli, FIABCI World President. Projects submitted must be completed, operational and occupied for 12 months prior to 31st December 2010.

 

Winners will be selected by an international panel of real estate professionals and experts. The FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Awards celebrates a project’s overall merit. Projects will be evaluated on concept, architecture, engineering, profitability, marketing results, environmental impact and benefits to the society. “The Prix d’Excellence represents an outstanding achievement,’ explains László Gönczi, President, Prix d’Excellence Committee. “Winners gain access to unique international platforms for their projects and to the FIABCI network of over 110 partner organizations worldwide in more than 50 member countries,’ he added.

 

Nominations for Prix d’Excellence Awards are accepted in the following categories:

  • a. Environmental (Rehabitation/ Conservation) Category
  • b. Heritage (Restoration/ Conservation) Category
  • c. Hotel Category
  • d. Industrial Category
  • e. Master Plan Category
  • f. Office Category
  • g. Public Infrastructures/ Amenities Category
  • h. Residential (High Rise) Category
  • i. Residential (Low Rise) Category
  • j. Resort Category
  • k. Retail Category
  • l. Rural (Homestead Development) Category
  • m. Specialised Project (Purpose Built) Category
  • n. Sustainable Development Category

Projects considered include theme parks, sports clubs, marinas, ski resorts, theatres, hotels, factories; housing complexes, high and low rise apartment buildings, malls, shopping centres, educational institutions, libraries, hospital, airports and parking facilities.

 

Project registration is 31 October 2010. Projects will be evaluated and if qualified, a detailed submission package must be submitted by 31st December 2010.
