Square 2/ Novena Medical Center (NMC) is a demonstration of the developer’s innovative spirit and long-term business foresight. Seizing the opportunity afforded by the white site status of the location – which allows developers to strategise the mix of the site’s usage to increase its development potential and create real estate value – the developer introduced a first-of-its-kind real estate product in Singapore with the integration of a medical centre with a retail podium with direct connectivity to a hospital. The developer also set a milestone in Singapore’s healthcare services industry, inking the first joint public-private sector partnership between NMC and Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore’s second largest public hospital and facilitating the optimisation of healthcare resource and capacity.
