Taipei City Hall Bus Station is a unique BOT (build-operate-transfer) project situated in the heart of Taiwan’s Capital City, Taipei. Offering a range of various functions including transportation services, ultramodern shopping facilities, and world-class luxury hotel accommodations, it is the most important public transfer system project completed in 2010. In response to the metropolitan area’s need for a more efficient transfer system, Taipei City Hall Bus Station was constructed and now plays an essential role in connecting Taipei CBD with the world. The project that occupies approximately 16,280 square meters is composed of the convenient bus station, charming department store and deluxe hotel. This new development which attracts large amounts of travelers and presents a very different vibe from the surrounding commercial district has now been proved a huge success.
